This chapter reminisces about how I saw the shops in my home town of Kirkby-in-Ashfield growing up. Mrs Peaches shop is based on a shop my Grandma used to take me in to buy wool. In reality it was a simple haberdashery shop, but to me it was a wild and wonderful place with so much stuff in, you could hardly take it all in.
